Neymar's PSG Medical Cancelled As Barcelona Take Drastic Measures As They Fight To Keep Their Star Man

 

Brazilian star, Neymar will not be travelling to Doha, Qatar, to have a medical with Paris Saint-Germain as talks of a world-record €222 million move reaches fever-pitch.


According to reports, the 25 year old  Neymar, 25, had left Barcelona to undertake a medical ahead of the much-hyped move to the Ligue 1 giants..

But according to sources who spoke to Goal, the Brazil star is set to leave Shanghai, where he was on a promotional tour, and report back to Catalonia to resume training on Wednesday.

However, sources close to the move say PSG remain confident of completing the record-shattering €222 million move for the Brazilian despite the best efforts of Barca to convince the Brazilian to stay.

Barca president Jorge Maria Bartomeu recently alerted UEFA of a breach in the Financial Fair Play rules in the pursuit of their star, shortly after La Liga chief Javier Tebas threatened to report the Parisians over the proposed move.

It is understood that the French side is being very careful to not make any kind of premature movements, with the deal not yet over the line, though reports claim they’re already planning a massive player presentation in front of their fans at the Parc des Princes, in the time honoured fashion of La Liga clubs.
